A mother found out the truth about postpartum hair loss – and TikTokers love cruelty And Her amazing “hair horn” ingenuity!

Mom and Ticktaker, Bree (@breecard), had nothing to do with her decision to deal with postpartum hair loss, and now her funny but sensible video has over 200,000 views.

She began the video by saying, “If you are easily scared, scroll through this video.

She continues to pull on the baby’s hair that comes out of her hairline. “No, I didn’t cut them off,” she explains. They grew up after my hair fell out after my pregnancy.

Why does hair fall out after giving birth? Simply put, the answer is hormones.

According to the American Pregnancy Association, women experience an increase in estrogen levels during pregnancy. This estrogen keeps hair growing and keeps your hair in a state of rest – resulting in daily hair loss. That’s why pregnant women usually have full, luxurious hair.

But after you give birth, those increased hormones return to normal – and your hair cycle returns to normal. Delayed hair loss during pregnancy can cause your hair to fall out at once after giving birth.

“When your hair loss regenerates, hair loss usually occurs after 3-4 months,” says the American Pregnancy Association. This hair loss is temporary, and hair loss will return to normal within six to twelve months.

Once your hair starts to grow back, it can come in the form of amazing baby hair – or “hair horns”, as Bree mentions in her TikTok video.

But thanks to her handy tutorial, those annoying “horns” can be a thing of the past for moms!

Mothers quickly flooded Bree’s video with comments, not only praising her wonderful haircut, but also expressing frustration at the lack of information for future mothers.

One mother said, “I asked my doctor when I should wait for hair loss, and he looked at me like crazy and told me it was a fairy tale.”

“I would like to know more about postpartum hair loss. When I had a second one, I was terrified of losing it, ”said another mother.

“Why doesn’t anyone talk about this person !! When I had hair loss after childbirth, I thought that there was something wrong with me. I had no idea about it, ”said another mother.

“Postpartum hair loss is a reality. My hair is slowly falling out, ”said one mother.

Another mother said, “I’m just going through the hairdressing room. The fight to not worry about it is real.”

“Oh, that’s why they said that to me ?! I thought I had a concussion, ”wrote one shocked mother.

Thanks to such helpful videos – and brutally honest moms like Brie – parents can get ready for any postpartum challenges!

If you are experiencing any hair loss, be sure to talk to your doctor as it may be a sign of vitamin or mineral deficiency or hormonal imbalance.
